sort of error on firefox

everytime I open a new page or anything I get this error

TypeError: ToolbarControl.getSettingByType is not a function

some times it just pops up ones other is pops up with the names of sites like facebook and ad something above it.

have you tried wiping your FF profile and starting clean?
backup your bookmarks and navigate to C:\Users\~Your User Account~\AppData and erase Mozilla folders in Local and Roaming

no reinstall required, unless problem persists

no file called appdata on my computer in taht area.

sorry look in wrong area found it.
