...or just "move" them? It would have been cool to see one houndeye's blast toss away another's body .

Also, is the current delay caused by Valve seing your awesome work and not throwing it into Steam because they want to test it first so that it's as good as it can be?

All in all it is a HL1 they never had ;P.

Houndeyes' attacks do that.

Question to the devs or to people that follow the discussions here much more regularly than me: Will there be some kind of development report after the mod's release? I know that the coolest way to do this, that means the commentary system imo, won't be possible because it would simply be too time consuming. But maybe some devs can write a little history about what was going on for the last few years, you know, things you haven't told to the community already.
I'm just curious to know how it was to finish the probably most ambitious mod project that has ever been started. And I think that, once the mod has been released, it'll place a landmark in the mod scene and to every landmark, there's a great history, ain't it

The real question is : Which one of it is more awesome?

The entire clip.

I disagree. One shot is more cold and calculating, and an entire clip is just barbaric and silly.

This.

Plus, I'm pretty sure you'd have to be a psycho to consider a style of execution "awesome."

One shot is too cold and reminds me of real exections.

A whole clip is just silly and dumb what makes it funny.

It's only silly if the entire clip is shot in bursts. If it's done without relenting on the trigger, then it's cold and barbaric.

the soldiers aren't neceserily barbaric. shooting entire clips into scientists implies the idea that they do it for fun rather than orders. which is not the case. they should act more like professionals without any feeling of guilt. they are only doing their job.

EDIT: now that i come to think about it, what kind of professional writes messages like "you are dead freeman" with a spraypaint all over the walls? hmmm... i give up.

It's called a postmortem, and it would be awesome. But my advice to the devs is to hire a ghostwriter to write a fictionalized novel about the past 5 years of development and then sell the film rights to Hollywood.

"I killed 12 dumbass scientists and not one of them fought back." Yeah, that kinda shows to me they WANT to have fun during the killing. Although I do agree they should just fire a single round.

I never should have started that pointless discussion.

I don't see why it wouldn't be downloadable off of steam. If garrysmod is on steam there should be absolutely no reasons why bms shouldn't be.

Garry's mod is on steam because Valve owns it.

I'm pretty sure that Valve is just the publisher with maybe an additional royalty fee.
