Soooooooo, are we there yet?
Have you finished more than a half/75% of what had to be done since "the release" in December, 2009? |

Admitting it is the first step, the next is finding out why you fail...
Sorry, couldn't resist. |

Excitement doesn't require a percentage of the completion of BM.

His point is that there's no point in ever asking about the release date. It's considered nagging, or "bitching," as people ask this all the time and the devs have continually resisted answering them.
It's like if you tell your children they cannot have a cookie before dinner, and all of your hundreds of offspring keep asking for the cookie (or, release date information in this scenario) even after you tell repeatedly that you aren't going to give them one. One would call that "bitching." |

Yeah, because I asked about "the release date"... I asked about something they've known for a while now - progress. Devs said that they won't venture this information because if they'd miss it players would get pissed. Well, right now it does seem like the main answer here is "fuck off and wait" so either way we're "pissed"...
Yes, the mod is UNDER DEVELOPMENT. Yes, you're working on it, probably every day. No, not giving anything is NOT better than risking a slight delay, we'll get over it anyway. Unless you think you won't make it till the end of 2010, in that case I can understand your concern... |

Just wondering :
Will a grunt (or even the player) be able to use the M2 mounted on top of the M1 tank and if the Abrams will use its coax additionally to its main gun ? Or is it just for aesthetic purpose Last edited by Mont_Blanc; 15-10-10 at 23:43.. Reason: Silly me and my english |

The tank can use its mounted machine guns to prevent the player from getting too close for it to use the main gun.

..and the tank will still fire its main gun if you are too close due to the muzzle blast inflicting serious pain.

All very nice, and also makes sense... but would it still be serious through the HEV suit, and Gordon's helmet?

What can we NOT expect to see in Black Mesa (Beside the face that cockroaches are not killable, Yes I read the Faq before posting this), that was in the Original Half Life.
Also correct me if I am wrong, are the textures JUST like HL1 or are they entirely new and different. |
