Every time that I look at your work, I think to myself, "Man, they can't get better than this." Then you release a new screenshot, and of course, its better than all the old ones. That's what I thought of the old 2009 pictures, until you released the new ones, like the new Questionable Ethics screenshot. And, every time this happens, I'm tantalized by the amazing visuals. I really hope I can get my hands on this, sometime this summer. But whatever the case, keep up the good work!

You can not claim that this scene on screenshot wasn't done and was not the same in '09 builds.

Which one? Anyways, didn't the devs make all new textures? Regardless, it's nitpicking like complaining about textures that gets you no where.

ontopic: what was/is the biggest job: coding, prop design, level design, audio, animation etc? as in, how was/is the general ratio in workload between them?

As I understand it, BM generally has a higher count of enemies then the OG Half Life. Which enemy type has bigger jump in count from the original to BM? or was it all kept fairly proportional?

No, it's still there. I quite like it.

If it makes you feel any better though, I'm the only one who used it and I only did in Blast Pit and Power Up. Skip those two chapters and you'll be fine.

We're still using a handful of assets from Source 2007, mostly in run-down areas of the facility.

You'll get different answers from different people.

We've got close to 5000 textures but only 60 or so maps. You couldn't say that the texture artists have done more than ten times as much work as the level designers; they're obviously not comparable.

Probably human grunts and houndeyes. Human grunts typically reinforce each other and houndeyes generally hunt and travel in packs.
