It’s that time again…

Black Mesa 60% off. SWEET

Fallout 4 is 50% off. But the season pass is another $50… what the fuck?

Bethesda games (including Doom 2016) is having a sale on GMG.
Use this extra 20% off voucher code: JULY20 at the checkout.

Nice discount and the base price doesn’t have Bethesda’s regional pricing here ($79.95 USD on Steam in Australia :hmph: ), cool

EDIT: think I’ll wait until I upgrade my graphics card though

Thanks for that! Got Doom and Fallout 4, without being sensible like Deadmoth and waiting until I’ve bought a GPU capable of playing them.

Aww… the season pass is still $50.

EDIT: I decided to go for it anyway, especially with voucher; Fallout 4 + Season Pass for $63. It probably won’t be that low again for a long time.

But Green Man Gaming don’t seem to want my business. First my account wouldn’t activate, and now I’m getting payment errors with both my credit card and my PayPal.

EDIT: So my credit card was fraud detection. ?( Still don’t know why they won’t take my PayPal. I guess I’ll just try again tomorrow after my bank has had time to get their nose out of my business.

Grim Dawn is 40% off on Steam, ahead of the Crucible Mode DLC launching later this week (which will have a 15% launch discount off the base price of $4.99 USD - and is free to backers of the Kickstarter and people who pre-ordered the game on the Grim Dawn website).

EDIT: same discounts available on as well

Fallout 4 + DLC and Season Pass are on sale on Steam right now. Fallout 4 and some of the DLC are also on sale on the Humble store.

Time for me to pull the trigger on this game.

It’s pretty good but I’ve been disappointed in the DLC. 3 and NV had way better DLC content, at least so far.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been hearing. I definitely didn’t want to buy that Season Pass for $50.

At the same time, the DLCs are probably going to be good modder’s resources, and I’m looking forward both to installing a bunch of mods and making a bunch of mods for this game.

Yeah, that’s true. It’s good you’re getting it on sale cause I bought it full price and have not gotten my full 50 bucks worth thus far. They just aren’t interesting DLC. Far Harbor was alright but honestly not as captivating as, say, Mother Ship Zeta or The Divide or hell, even the simulation. The additions to base building are cool but honestly, its still kinda clumsy to me with the limited amount of building you can do and space to do it in. Not to mention not everything fits together so well.

The base games hella fun tho, it was worth its weight in gold.

I’m kind of upset that Bethesda not only made not just only a single story DLC so far, (Not sure if Nuka world will count) but that the Vault-Tec Workshop is literally just a slightly improved version of an existing FO4 mod.

In addition to the base game’s sidequests being nearly all Radiant Quests (Algorithm-generated fetch and kill) rather than designer-crafted stories, Fallout 4 felt really lacking to me.

#295 Monstrous Fall Sale

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Ubisoft is giving away a free copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for the month of November. The page is still showing last month’s free game but will be updated when Blood Dragon goes live. If you have an Ubisoft account all you need to do is log in to get the free game. If you don’t have an account, it’s free and easy and it makes it easier to get the rest of the free games each month until December.

“Aw man, missed out on Rayman Origins”. Forgot I already owned it and it’s on my desktop, LOL. Such a great game.

Thanks for this though, I would’ve never known about it otherwise.

Neither would I tbh. Thanks.

Dirt 3 Complete Edition (Steam) free via the Humble Store (ended)

Titanfall 2 marked down to $40 on Origin, can be had for $32 if you use promo code TITAN20 during checkout. The single player is actually quite good and would honestly justify the $32 on it’s own, but there’s obviously a robust multiplayer offering.

Seriously, buy it. “Effects and Cause” is almost worth the cost of admission by itself.
