PC MASTER RACE UNITE!

… or something like that.

There was a thread like this on the old forum, but I haven’t seen anyone remaking it, so I’ll just do it. Here’s mine.

CPU: Intel i5 3570K 3.40 GHz
GPU: Inno3D GeForce GTX 660 (Gonna buy a new GPU soon)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600 mHz

Taken with a shitty phone camera, sorry.

Here’s mine (EDIT: dead link). Desk is a mess, not posting pictures of it :stuck_out_tongue:
Cables are as tidy as I could get them; my PSU is large enough that it covers a hole in the motherboard backplate that could probably have been used to hide a few cables.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 @ 3.4GHz, cooled by Zalman CNPS9700LED
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX770 OC 4GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB ( 2x8GB ) DDR3-1866 @ 9-10-9-27
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3
Case: Cooler Master CM690
PSU: Cooler Master Real Power Pro 850W
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Monitor: Samsung S23A700D, 23" 1920x1080 @ 120Hz
Speakers: Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System
Keyboard: Logitech Wave (wired)
Mouse: Logitech MX 400 Performance Laser Mouse

Next upgrade: hopefully a SSD, maybe some more case fans

I know the pics don’t match but hey;

^ I’ve since cable managed it again, nothing visible  Also I dropped the DVD drive, nice and minimal on the front now!

Some pretty average specs;

  • W8 64bit
  • PhenomII x6 1100T Black Edition (OC’d 3.8GHz)
  • Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 (rev.2) CPU cooler
  • 1Gb HD5850 ‘Toxic’ edition (OC’d 900MHz/1250Mhz)
  • 4x2 Gb 1066MHz DDR2 (8Gb total)
  • 750Gb maindrive
  • 1Tb media drive
  • 1Tb gaming drive
  • 550W Corsair PSU
  • Razer Nostromo / Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition / Coolermaster Sentinel Zero-G

I like to think it holds up pretty damn well performance wise, considering the 4 year old mobo and the budget upgrades.
p.s. The colour coding started off accidental with just the mobo and fans… but I ran with it C:

Pic is from last year but I assure you it still looks pretty much exactly like this.

OS-Windows 7 64-bit SP1 + Splashtop (OS on motherboard)
CPU-Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 45nm edition
able to do stock speed at under 1.1v
Not overclocked for now until I get a new mobo+ram (BIOS issues)
MoBo-ASUS P5Q-SE (intel p45 chipset)
GPU-SAPPHIRE AMD RADEON HD6850 1GB GDDR5 (overclocked to 920Mhz)
RAM-4GB (2gb dell+2gb kingston) DDR2 800Mhz
shitty ram I bought for 0.5g of weed 4 years ago (still 100% stable)
HDD-128GB SanDisk SSD+1TB WD black+640GB WD Green
Case-generic no-name case (it has 4 usb ports and eSATA on the front panel)
Cooler-Scythe ninja II CPU cooler (no fan)
Displays-1680x1050 22inch (x3) eyefinity with Sapphire DP to DVI adapter
Input-chiclet keyboard made by Ultra and Logitech Bj-69 mouse
Sound-Pioneer 5.1 Home Theater SX-315(makes voices in movies/games very clear thanks to the center channel)

sometimes I use a projector(EPSON PowerLite S5) instead of the triple screens (for stuff like Breaking Bad, etc.)

this rig is quite old (built late 2008) heavily used all day by multiple people for everything from Fallout NV+expansions to CS Source to SR4, Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Remember Me and TombRaider on medium-high at 5040x1050

^truth

Infact the desk seems a bit out of place with the rest of the decor

#17

Ehem, it’s a chiffonjé.
The color of it doesn’t appear that bright with normal lightning. It really reflect that flash, thought.

#18

Cool.

It’s also a bureau
